Cali has lived in a managed feral colony for 8 years.
In
honor of Oct 16th being National Feral Cat Day, all fees collected
on this date will be donated to River City Community Animal
Hospital. According to Alley Cat Allies, the number of feral cats
in the US is estimated in the tens of millions. The most humane and
effective way to reduce the number of feral cats is
trap/neuter/return. RCCAH works to save lives through spaying and
neutering.
River City Community Animal Hospital also started in 2003 and now,
over 1,000 surgeries later, they've grown out of their small mobile
clinic and into their 33 ft. state of the art, spay/neuter van,
which will be delivered in March. They're working hard to stop
feline overpopulation and we want to help them.
