It is with pleasure and thanks that I write this letter of recommendation for Nickee Mixon and Creatures Great and Small Pet Sitters. Nickee sat for my treasured pets over the course of the several months. I am moving to another state and will miss the peace of mind that Nickee instantly instilled, and continued to prove during my many business travels, while I lived in Jacksonville.
I was new to the area and did not know anyone for the time that I was stationed in Jacksonville. I was worried that I would have trouble finding a sitter for my 18 year old cat and 3 parrots. When I found Nickee I knew I had someone that cared for my pets as much as I do! This was my utmost concern, as my unexpected travel became a regular occurrence for a few months. I needed someone I could trust with my family of critters.
As a somewhat overbearing pet owner, I asked for emails or phone calls daily when Nickee first started with my critters. She happily obliged. I was thrilled to find the detailed email and logs that she left of the visit activity. I hire people on a regular basis in my line of work. It is so rare to find anyone with the caring, work ethic and follow-through that Nickee provides.

I have utilized Nickee’s pet sitting services for over a year now and have loved it! I was traveling quite a bit for work and never really found a kennel I was comfortable in keeping my 2 black labs in. Finding Nickee’s services was the best thing that could have happened. My dogs get to stay in the comfort of their own home and getting great attention from Nickee when she makes her visits to them. She is extremely professional and cares for your dogs as if they were her own. When I need to travel, I am completely comfortable that they are in good hands. Nickee also adds the nice extra touches like taking pictures of them while she is sitting or leaving detailed reports of what they did and how the dogs were acting. It is always a pleasure to come home to see the same waggles from my dogs when I left and not that stressed out look when they come home from a kennel. Nickee is very responsive and adaptable to my schedule of visits. I appreciate Nickee and her extra care she takes in each visit she makes. I would recommend anyone to Nickee! I know I have appreciated her excellent service and I know my two favorite labs appreciate her as well!
